Volunteers are a key component to the success of our literacy programs. They build capacity for and facilitate hands-on learning that is tailored to the needs of each learner.​  Join our team and make an impact today!

Adult Book Club Co-Facilitator 

Work alongside Centre for Family Literacy staff to welcome learners and support their literacy skill development in an online setting.

In-Person Family Program  

Co-Facilitator

 Provide a safe, welcoming environment for participants, and participate in helping to create stronger families and communities.

Adult Literacy

Tutor

Assist adult learners one-on-one to help them reach their goals in reading, writing, math, or other literacy skills. 

Online Program Co-Facilitator

Assist with the running of Zoom meetings, attendance, and supporting the facilitator during the online program.

Basic Digital Skills

Tutor

Guide one or two learners as they build basic skills to make better use of the digital devices they already own.

Golf Tournament Committee Member

Fundraise by securing sponsors and prizes, recruiting teams, attending the tournament to help ensure the event runs smoothly,.

Board of

Directors 

Use your experience, perspective, and connections to support the Centre in achieving our vision through our Community Impact Plan.
