Musical concepts aren't just for playing instruments! They can help your child's development and facilitate better speech and language skill in the future. Watch this video for a fun rain-stick craft. Craft List: 1. Paper Towel Tube 2. Aluminum Foil or Pipe Cleaners 3. Rice or Popcorn Kernels 4. Scissors 5. Duct Tape Craft Instructions: 1. Cover one end of your paper towel tube with duct tape. 2. Roll a piece of aluminum foil up or attach some pipe cleaners together 3. Place either the aluminum foil or pipe cleaners into the paper towel tube. These will act to slow down the rice/popcorn kernels inside. 4. Place your rice or popcorn kernels into a plastic bag and cut a corner of the bag off. 5. Put these into the paper towel tube. 6. Wrap duct tape over the top of the paper towel tube 7.
